Please prepare that i mention below:

  • An HTC One V with unlocked bootloader.
  • see : Tutorial to unlock HTC One V’s bootloader.
  • USB drivers for the HTC One V. You can get the drivers by visit in HTC Sync. certify to shut HTC Sync before rooting your phone.
  • WinRAR, 7-Zip or different similar file extraction programs put in on your laptop.
  • Download the files below:
  • r1-primo-superboot.zip (md5sum: 33fb1e45aff5259e67ed3c0bab7aafbf)
  • boot.superboot.img (4.01 MB)
  • Disable system tools like HTC Sync, firewall programs, and anti-virus software.
  • your htc phone battery state must be more than 70%
  • Backup all personal data from your phone. because root process will erase your data on your phone.

HOW TO ROOT


  1. extraxt the r1-primo-superboot.zip to a folder on your computer.
  2. place the boot.superboot.img in the folder where you extracted r1-primo-superboot.zip. This will replace the boot.superboot.img that came with r1-primo-superboot.zip.
  3. Switch off your HTC One V.
  4. Reboot your HTC One V into Bootloader Mode by pressing the Volume Down key and Power button simultaneously until Bootloader Mode appear.
  5. Select Fastboot from the Bootloader Menu.
  6. Connect your HTC One V to the computer with your USB cable. The Bootloader screen will appear “FASTBOOT USB.”
  7. Then go to the r1-primo-superboot folder and double-click the install-superboot-window.batfile. This will automatically start the rooting process.
  8. After the rooting process complete, your HTC One V smartphone will automatically reboot.
  9. After boot again, go to the app drawer. Tap the SuperSU icon and update the SU binary to the latest version.
